INTRODUCTION TO THE MODULE

October 29th 2013- (8.30-9.00 a.m)

The first  day of this module started with the Introduction. In this introduction Miss Manesha explained about the key aims for this module, Module learning out comes, Topics which will be covered, Module breakdown structure and the final assessment requirements for the final assessment that we need to complete at the end of this module.

Key Aims Of The Module

This module focuses on how we should focus on our careers and prepare our self to undertake projects in the future and to equip our self's with the proper communication skills to communicate effectively and professionally in the Job industry.

Module Learning Outcomes

There were mainly two learning outcomes which was discussed in the class and are shown below,

1. At the End of this module we should be able to demonstrate an understanding of professional issues which will be covered in this module and come up with an independent research to produce a portfolio report.
2. We need to create a project proposal with an appropriate project plan,give reasons to why i choose this projects and what are the methods/ Methodologies.This project can even be used for even our final year project.

Assessment Requirements

In this module we need to keep up with a learning log to monitor work carried out in our own practical, tutorial and independent learning sessions and to come up with a well researched project proposal with risk and timescale plans.

After discussing the above topics Miss Manesha  gave us three questions which we needed to do as home work and ended the session for today. Below shows the three questions which she gave.
